Why am I being contacted?

You are receiving this invitation because you participated in the 2022 SNAAP survey through your alma mater, and you indicated you would be open to participating in future research opportunities. We’re now inviting you to join SNAAP Pulse, a follow-up research panel focused on the lives and careers of arts and design alumni like you.

Can I share this survey with someone else?

While this survey invitation is specific to you, others who meet the eligibility criteria can sign up to learn more about SNAAP Pulse HERE. Feel free to share the link with fellow arts and design alumni who may be interested in adding their voice!

What’s the purpose of the survey? 

SNAAP Pulse collects timely data on the careers, educational experiences, and overall well-being of arts and design graduates. This valuable information helps colleges, universities, policymakers, and researchers better understand the evolving realities of creative careers. In turn, these insights support smarter policies, stronger programs, and a more informed public conversation about the role and impact of arts alumni.

WHO IS BEHIND THE SURVEY? 

SNAAP is a national initiative supported by the University of Texas at Austin and the Brown University Survey Research Center. These partners help administer the survey and ensure high standards of research quality and data security. 

Is my participation voluntary?

Participation in SNAAP Pulse is entirely up to you. Choosing not to participate will not affect your relationship with your alma mater. You may opt out at any time, and you’re never required to answer questions you’re not comfortable with. 

are my responses private?

All survey responses are collected through Qualtrics, a secure platform. You’ll be assigned a unique ID number to access the survey, and any identifying information will be stored separately from your responses. SNAAP will never share your identity with third parties. All data is stored securely, and your privacy is a top priority. 

will my responses be identifiable?

Reports and findings from SNAAP Pulse will only be shared in aggregate. No individual responses or identifying information will ever be published. 

will i receive a reward for participating?

As a thank you for your time, you’ll receive a digital gift card of $5 for your first completed survey, with compensation for each future survey you complete as well. Each survey you complete is rewarded.
